By installing or using Snap Currency (the "app"), you agree to these terms.
The app
Snap Currency is a currency conversion utility provided by Cannappy LLC. It uses third-party data sources and on-device OCR to help you understand prices in different currencies.
Not financial advice
Exchange rates shown in the app are reference rates from public sources. They are not the rates your bank, card issuer, or money transfer service will charge. The app is not a money transfer service, broker, or financial advisor. Always confirm the rate with your provider before any decision involving real money.
OCR accuracy
Live camera OCR and receipt scanning are best-effort. Lighting, glare, handwriting, and unusual fonts can produce wrong results. Verify before paying.
Pro features and purchases
Some features (OCR, Siri intents, unlimited currencies, ad removal) require a Pro upgrade purchased via the App Store. Refunds are processed by Apple — visit reportaproblem.apple.com.
Acceptable use
Don't use the app to do anything illegal, infringe rights, or attack the service. Don't reverse engineer the app beyond what's allowed by law.
Charity
We commit to donating 50% of net profits (after operating costs) to charities listed on Every.org. We publish monthly transparency reports. The "50%" is a commitment from Cannappy LLC.
Disclaimers
The app is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Cannappy LLC is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or loss of profits, arising out of your use of the app. Total liability is capped at the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim (often $0 for free users).
Changes
We may update these terms. Material changes will be announced in-app on the next launch.
